My little Knowledge says this is a SANSKRIT blessing for peace meaning " May happiness be unto the world ".
I would like to invite you all into my little BLOG with this AIM with this BLESSING as a way to entice we all to share our experiences here on. But, I am saying, that " I am not a writer ", I like to be a WRITER also I am not sure that would be a requirement. Think of the joy in sharing and the words will come. I want to share with you my humanity. I accept that I am a flawed person, but - in that, I find peace, harmony and solutions in my routine. I share these life experiences with you all in hope that my flaws will touch someone, and possibly, let them know me will help them find the answer. So let this day be the first day in sharing life with all of us here. Perhaps it will be the day you touch another's life with JOY. Come share with me.

In the quest for mental peace, you should not be concerned only about your own needs. Apart from such a quest being an index of intense selfishness, it is also a futile one. Is it possible for a single individual alone to achieve peace ? If there is chaos and unrest all around you, how can you alone have peace ? Your peace is dependent on peace in the family, in society and in the world. You have to cultivate the feeling that your individual peace is intimately related to the peace of the world. The ancients perceived this profound truth and hence prescribed the universal prayer - " Loka Samastha Sukhino Bhavanthu "
Sarveshaam shantir bhavatu
Sarveshaam poornam bhavatu
Sarveshaam mangalam bhavatu
Sarve bhavantu sukhinah
Sarve santu niraamayaah
Sarve bhadraani pashyantu
Maakaschit duhkha bhaag bhavet
Meaning:
Auspiciousness (swasti) be unto all;
Peace (shanti) be unto all;
Fullness (poornam) be unto all;
prosperity (mangalam) be unto all.
May all be happy! (sukhinah)
May all be free from disabilities! (niraamayaah)
May all look (pashyantu)to the good of others!
May none suffer from sorrow! (duhkha)
